which ecu do you use?
I'm putting together a shopping list of parts while my bank account recovers. I just dropped considerable coin on the ECU, Tune and front mount to find the limits of the stock turbo very quickly.

which ecu do you use?
Haltech PS1000, if someone got in the car they'd have no idea it wasn't a stock ecu. Cold start is exactly as per factory as is the driveability, it was that or the Vipec, the tuner I went to has a Caldina and favours Haltech as he use to work for them so it was the best choice for me to leverage off what he has learnt on his car.

that is great Rona, just save some cash and get 6258, you will enjoy!
Well power goals are changing mainly because I am now doing a full rebuild and Borg Warner seem to be undecided as to if they actually want to build and send out any EFRs to customer's. GCG is offering a GTX3071r or GTX3076r with V Band rear housing as an alternative. They basically said the update from Borg Warner is they can't even guarentee if the EFRs will actually get made. Borg Warner themselves have removed all posting from a twitter account they had as well, seems they are trying to hide.
Just wondering which rear housing would be best to use tossing up between the 0.63 and 0.82. Car will run E85 so it should help bring it on a bit earlier as well.

Is it the full V band housing, inlet and dump or T3 with V band dump?
What are your power goals and boost response goals?
I'd go with the GT3076 with a .82 if those are your options. Assuming you want it to make serious power and you're happy to wait until >4Krpm for full boost.
T3 with V Band Dump as far as I'm aware. Still want to maintain reasonable response which was why I went the EFR route initially but if the build ever wants to come to fruition then a GTX looks to be the next best option. Given the full build I should be able to spin to say 7500-8000rpm so full boost by around 4000 or a touch more rpm still means it'll have a decent power band.
Ultimate goal is 250-300awkw.
