Okay so have just changed the spark plugs, fuel filter, oil filter, and engine oil. The carburetor needs a rebuild is is definitely leaking but could that be the cause of it misfiring so badly
I have just had an engine transplanted into my Corona Liftback, a ported/rebuilt 18R in place of the worn out 18R-C which was stock. There was too much oil in the engine after I got it back from the shop which I didnt realize until the crank case valve became clogged and the rocker case gasket blew, I have replaced both these things and it is still jolting and losing power fairly regularly. Here is a video of it idling with a few small revs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dE7O_qs5Wao not sure if thats helpful but would love any advice you can give me

Have you rechecked the timing?. Also when you say that the carby is leaking, do you mean its leaking air? or fuel and from where. Have you corectly adjusted the points gap?and the tappet clearance. It may also pay to check the cam timing as it may be out by one tooth. Carb been overhauled lately? All these things can add up to a crap running engine
