Altezza/IS200 hemisphere certainly does work in live axle F-series, no doubt, as mr75 said. I had one in my car for some time, loved it (over the previous clutch pack LSD) and never had a drama with open wheeling for drags, circuit, or khana work.

If you're using an F series housing from a Corona however, please please please make sure you adequately baffle it to keep oil from running up the axle tubes on long bends, if you haven't done so already. You have been warned

oh In that case, make sure you measure the engagement of the half-shaft splines when you assemble it, just to be sure There can be some oddities between toyota LSD's between axle/housing combinations.

The After market diffs often won't have the groove in the side gear for the circlip either.

it maybe a 2way? a 1 or 1.5way would be superior for grip driving. i had a 2way in my s13 a brand new KAZZ i never had any understeer from the lsd pushing. granted it was a drift car but i had average tyres on the front.

FYI i believe the live axle centres do not have a grove for a clip that holds the axles in on IRS cars.

It's a standard MA61 diff, rebuilt with a maxxgrip centre:new springs, more plates and much higher breakout force
