Hello Guys

Little issue with the old SV21...With the AIRCON on the idle goes loopy after awhile sometimes stalling...weird thing is if I press button to turn aircon off she idles sweet...anything that can be done? Didnt think it would be a dogey ISCV as only happens with AIRCON!

Can be a computer problem not upping the idle correctly when aircon is turned on, usually caused by leaky capacitors. Not as scary expensive as it sounds to get fixed but can be up to 500 for reconditioned computer. I would get the computer checked by someone rather than put a second hand computer in it at that age because chances are the wrecker special coud be rooted too. I had a honda that did almost the same thing, 280 for a reco computer or 250 for a wrecker special, guess where i spent the money. It could also be a loom fault too, computer not being told the aircon is on.........

To easy will pull apart and have a look...so even poor old camry doesnt escape from the capciator problem...easy fix

does it have a separate AC idle up valve? most 3s engines ive come across do

not to sure but I do know at cold start with the aircon on it bumps the idle up and when its hot it also bumps the idle up but randomly it will drop to 100rpm and bounce up and down and sometimes stall.
