285rwkw 1jz to 1.5jz conversion

hey guys, my 1jz is putting out a fair bit of kick, gt35r, custom plenum etc..
although the big end is starting to go due to a failed/failing oil pump.

My theory is if im going to spend money fixing the engine, i may aswell do it properly but still on a budget. my plan is :
keep my head/inlet plenum/exhaust manifold/ecu/loom etc..
buy:
new 1jzgte oil pump
engine gasket kit
2jzge n/a block? keeping standard rods
2jzgte CP pistons?
decent head gasket?
race bearings?

any advise much appreciated!

another option is just buy a used low kms 1j bottom end.

plenty of people with over 500 hp at the wheels on stock internals, be alot cheaper!!!!

Dont listen to these nay sayers. Have a quick search on here i read a thread all about 1.5jz only about 2 weeks ago.
