a lot of that on the 'not working list' are different circuits outside of the engine wiring loom.
Chuckster, I think you mean put the bulb across 12V and the W terminal. Tc and E1 get shorted together to put computer into diagnostics.

which fuse box are you using then? the st204 or st202? From memory there are certain differences so you're best to start checking that all connections are correct. I'm hoping you have grabbed the fusebox and looms (including all junction boxes and relays) out of the cut and placed it into your car.
Secondly when cranking are you getting fuel through the rail?
Oh and is the battery fully charged?
Edit: Manual to manual conversion? or manual to auto ? or auto to manual?
If auto to manual you will need to bypass the Neutral Start Switch.
So I bought a multimeter today and checked the ignition modules. With the ignition on (or off for that matter) I'm getting 5v to the red with black stripe wire, and nothing to the other wires. I recall reading something on the MR2 forum about a guy also getting only 5v, but now I can't find the thread.
Yes, manual to manual. No fuel presure unless I run power directly to the pump.
My diagnostic box doesn't have anything in the W terminal.
Anyway, I'm going to swap over the front chassis loom today and see if that helps.
Cheers
Shane.
Swapped over the front chassis loom, still no start! The ECU relay is opening when I try to start, but the engine is not even turning over.
Anyway, I have accepted defeat and have booked in an auto electrician to come and take a look next week. I just can't work it out, I swapped everything now besides the metal bodywork and it just won't work! Oh well...
I'll update this thread with whatever the auto electrician comes up with, hopefully it will be of help to someone down the track.
Punch it, it will come good.
You wouldn't believe it - it was just a loose plug and a missing fuse! I'd checked everything a million times, but I guess it takes a fresh pair of eyes to pick these things up sometimes.
Felt a bit stupid to get an auto electrician out just for that, but at least it wasn't anything major. $80 well spent I say!
The Beams sounds so good without an exhaust.![]()
