    Default RA28 swaybar mount reinforcement

    Hey all,

I'm about to get myself a whiteline ae86 adjustable swaybar for my RA28, but was wondering what people had done to re-inforce thier swaybar mounts? Reason for asking is that i've got an RA23 which had a kmac bar in it when I bought it (same size as the whiteline one I think) which has broken the panel the the mounts bolt onto, just wanna avoid it happeneing with my 28!

    Any tips/ideas?

    Cheers,
    Ben

As in the flat plate that bolts onto the U bolt between the D bush and the diff? Or is there already a place to bolt up the mount on the ra28 diff?

I've had an aftermarket bracket on for some km's now, and have noticed the flat plate bend but not break.

Nah the back doesn't seem to be a problem, it's up the front I was talking about but forgot to mention this lol. There's a small panel that the sway bar mounts are attached to which bolts to the chassis rail and the front bracing under the radiator which also has the radius rods attached to it. On the RA23 I have it must have broken at some point cos the previous owner had done (some pretty average) repairs on it. I'll try and post some pics to illustrate tomorrow.
    Cheers,
    Ben
