i'm about to install an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator and i'm not quite sure what pressure to set it to. I would like to set it the same as what the factory one was ready for my dyno tune in a couple of weeks. Just to keep it drivable as is in the mean time.
Alternatively my after market regulator has a gauge attached. is there any way that i can temporarily fit the new regulator inline with the old to take a pressure reading? If it comes to it, i'll buy another gauge for testing purposes.

Better to do it static. 38-40psi pump on, engine off. If you're fitting an aftermarket regulator, attach a gauge to it (most FPRs have two in ports and one return to the tank, attach the gauge to one inlet with the rail going to other inlet).
