Ackerman & because they're twisted opposite, will the outers have enough range without binding?

ackerman is an interesting point, would it make it better or worse?

leeroy the bolt pattern on the strut top is different, te72 is an equilateral triangle wheras the ke70 are 3 different measurements, so my strut top wont fit the tower.

Ackerman you will have to work out to see, As a general rule it is ment to draw a line through piviot point of axle (say ball joint) and hole of steering arm the lines made should cross around the rear axle line (diff centre assuming diff is in the middle of axle) Moving it forward or backward in relation to the axle will change the radius of the inside wheel in a turn eather more or less angle.

Basic result of messing with it will be a tendency to under or over steer more, and a difference in turning circle at low speed.

If it helps you I've got some cusco (?) strut top plates that I pinched the centres from. They're the alloy plate with the adjystment slots in them and the pattern is 4 stud - I think they were from a cefiro?.

I've got no use for them so i'd be happy to send them to you for just postage cost (~$10?). If you want i'll grab you a measurement of the spacing and size of the plate. You'd just need to redrill holes for the studs and maybe trim some off the edges since they're square.

Whats the measurement of your strut PCD?

triangular 98 mm hole to hole

ill see how i go and let you know if i will need them. thanks heaps for the offer though!
ive decided for now just to put a standard shock and the standard struts back in it and go from there, see where i end up when i do the steering and suspension properly, with the time to measure everything and do it properly, i will probably end up measuring up this setup just to see what its like.

    cheers, andy

If it's only a matter of new holes in the sheet metal to fit whatever strut tops, do it.
