R154 jumping out of gear

Hey guys, my box won't stay in first, jumps out of third and is noisy in second (selector hitting second gear). I pulled it down, couldn't see anything wrong, except it didn't look like it was engaging into first the whole way. I noticed that the bolt on the first/second selector was loose as so I tightened that but that didn't fix it

Is it possible that the selector is bent? Any other possible issues?

Spoke to a dude yesterday (PRIMRK on 86dc) that mentioned a critical spacer that if broken can cause your gearset to move and mesh gears that aren't meant to causing death to gearbox. even though this ain't your problem here, would be worth looking into to prevent this happening.

isnt this a thrust washer? or is that only for first....

mine did the same and it was the thrust washer mate. replaced it and all was good. but if you keep driving it as it is (if possiable) it could do more damage. driftmotion.com do a upgrade for them thats stronger then the factory thrust washers.
