Toyota Fest 2011 - Victorian Invasion

Hi folks

I am very keen to head up to Toyota Fest 2011 in Sydney this year with my Celica.

Would love to go up with a few Victorian members and make a bit of a weekend of it.

I am open to how we do it, but perhaps we drive up Friday. Enjoy the festivities Saturday and Sunday. Drive home Monday. Dates would be 30th September - 3rd October. But we can flex those based on general consensus.

If you were really keen you would stay the week up there and go to Bathurst the following weekend

There are lots of accommodation options in Sydney. All my family is up there so I will take the free options that are available with that but I am sure the group can work something out too.

i'll be taking Grandpa up, i've already clued the wifey on this, but that was before she started studying.

up friday and back monday is fine with me. i'm taking a fair bit of leave in August already (3-ish weeks), so another 4 day weekend would do me good. esp as there's no VIC public holidays between mid-June and Melb Cup.

i'm happy to take 2-3 passengers (depending on wife), i encourage any and all those that wish to travel in (1974 sytle) luxury to get on board and share the love (petrol costs).

Getting closer

we've had a chat at work about taking leave in the coming months......it's not looking good for me to take the monday (NSW public holiday) off.

so while i'm still keen for it, i'll most likely be driving back sunday arvo/evening, missing the pork-knuckle and steins
