from what ive seen with TRD clutchpack diffs that is quite normal. they are a very "grabby" LSD. wont affect the car during normal driving though as stated above.
I'd be checking the preload as well. I've got a TRD 2-way (F-series), and my car is a little "clunky" at parking speeds, but otherwise fine.

Sounds like I should put the axles on it and see how much force is required to get them to turn independantly while the centre is not in the diff. Adjust shims if that feels too tight (ie I can't move it by hand)
