So an update.
I have the Eboost correctly plumbed to only the WG now. There's a bleed on the EBV. The car makes decent boost down low and a solid boost over 3000rpm....gets along pretty well.
even though the sub 3000rpm boost is good (can see 12psi) it's a bit off still and i think it's because the exhaust gas control valve still isn't hooked up properly. I think what it ahppening is it's staying shut until exhaust pressure vasically blows it open? there's a real surge in power just over 3000rpm...no hole, just a very steep increase.
The line from the pressure tank to the EGC valve is blocked...the numpties thought they were hooking into the EBV lines, duh.
It's a bitch of a line to get to as it runs around the back of the engine but see what i can do....i'll just run ,y own line off the pressure canister if i have to.
Now, for now, the bleed to the EBV also means a bleed to the pressure canister...i can see this isn't great but is it bad? thoughts? eventually i'll plumb the EBV bleed post the pressure canister line T but that's a PITA and no time between now and Dubbo to do that.
