2tg upgrade with 3t single cam??

Hey guys,

Just wondering if you can use the 3t single cam for any upgrades on the 2tg?

New to these engines and heard you can use the 2tg head on the 3t's but maybe not if its a single cam??

Any info would be great...

You can use a 2tg head on a 3t block, this also known as a 3t/2tg hybrid becuase it ups the displacement from 1600cc to 1800cc with some more work to the head, a 3t single cam wont work in a twin cam head

Alrigght thanks ctrain I thought that was the case... My head has already been worked in the 2tg so this might be a good idea for a little more Powa..

Can you use just the 3t Crank in your 2tg block??
