tailshaft lenght and yolk is different, there's 2 types of yolks on the t50 gearbox 20 spline and 22 spline
tailshaft on the diff end again 2 different types - square bolt pattern and rectangular bolt pattern
auto and manual crossmembers are different
speedo cable is different
wiring for reverse light is needed (plugs in engine bay area near firewall and brake booster)
pedal for clutch needed
manual brake pedal is needed (its narrower on the pad area)
clutch master and piping needed (do this while the engine is out)
hole in trans tunnel for shifter is further forwards on an auto but only an inch (was on mine anyway)73 model
neutral safety switch harness needs to be removed and wiring plug bridged (its the wiring next to the auto shifter)
apart from trimming the shifter hole it's all plug and play
manual crossmeber bolts in different holes than the auto crossmember
anyone doing this conversion with the engine still in the bay
undo the exhaust manifold or extactors from the head because you need the engine to tilt rearwards to fit the gearbox - makes it 100 times easier.....
2t to 2tg uses same engine mounts, radiator, exhaust manifold. top radiator hose is different
