Yeah I think that may be worth a go. Perhaps we can call it "how to get your car to handle now that you have more power than Luke"

Thumbs up Re: Imports101 MaxAction Second Series 2006

Yeah, sounds like a great idea. Track what people do to their cars over the series and maybe see how our times go as the season progresses.

I know Andrew is taking his Skyline into Wilkinson's to have his suspension setup properly too, as well as fixing his coil pack problem.

Where would the new thread go? Under Track Talk or whatever it's called? Or still in the WA Events area?

I have a "Parcel ready to be picked up" card in the letterbox

And thanks for dropping the diff over Matty.

Disturbed, the event is driver-based, so changing cars for an event is allowed (not during obviously). I know Matty is keen to run his MR2 when it's ready too.

Gene - get Andrew to mention that he is entered in the MaxAction Event, I think they are doing a "club pricing" thing over there.

OK, for those who competed last Sunday, and for those now wanting to compete...

The next event is on the 20th of August. The same entry forms, etc. apply, but if you want to know more ask me.

The OST guys are usually entered in the PM session, so if you want to be there running with us, that's the time slot to enter.

BTW - Andrew says thanks for the heads-up on the "club pricing" for Wilkinson's Suspensions.

I understand that the 2nd event on the 20th of this month (August) is completely booked now. Not sure if anymore of the OST crew have entered this one, but I'm pretty sure we'll have Mitch.T, Ian, Luke, Andrew and myself along again. And Matty if he's organised - hope those MR2 issues are sorted Matty

I know Andrew's been tweaking his suspension and fixed his coil pack problem, so he should be on the improve this round.

My LSD is just about done, so it will be interesting to see what diff that makes

And not sure what secret "tricks" the others have made since the last one.

Should be fun as was the last one. And if it's wet, could be "interesting"

Im not sure if i will enter this round or not. As of today the MR2 is back up and running again, however im not sure im ready to put it through a thrashing of a motorkana just yet, however when i decide i will i think it will be quite interesting, it sure does go hard and turns alot better than the supra

I can't wait untill sunday week. I'm hoping the weather will keep dry, but it'll be interesting in the wet. It'll kinda level out the HP difference a bit more. Except the 4wds, they can just ggf.

Also my old man has entered the PM session in his 1973 Lancer. One more OST in the mix.

Cool Luke, it will be good to check-out his Lancer too.

I must say I'd prefer it dry so that comparisons with the last event are easier. But I think we'll have it wet sometime during the series. And that will be interesting too.

No probs Matty, glad to hear it's running OK. Hope you get it sorted-out properly and Motorkhana ready before too long. I'll be waiting with keen interest to see how you get that MR2 around the course - a bit easier than the Supra I'm betting!

Still haven't had time to finish off the LSD, but I'm home tomorrow so I'll do it then and take it for a test drive, etc. and re-check bolts, etc.
