Default A/C wiring help 20v swap into ae92

    Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone knows how to wire the a/c from an ae111 into an ae92 sx... I don't really understand a/c wiring, but know the basics of the functions of the a/c.

ie. A/c must be gassed to provide power to the on / off switch
The on / off switch feeds the a/c clutch relay etc...

Anyway, what i'm after if anyone knows is what wires to put where on the wiring loom. I've identified the plugs for the a/c pressure switch + the compressor etc.

    A/C Pressure switch plug

    The plug contains four wires...

Green - Is to the thermostat housing switch
Green / Black - Feeds to the Fan1 relay
    Blue / Red - ????
Black / Yellow - Traced down to a/c compressor

    A/C Compressor Plug

    Black/Yellow - A/C pressure switch
    White/Blue - ???
    Blue/Yellow - ???
    Yellow/Blk - ???
    Light Green/Black - ???

I've also mapped the sx plug cabin plug, except for about 5 wires which I believe are the a/c ones.

Appreciate your help and i'll write up something once I have the info so others can use it too.
    Matt

Use the original AE92 pressure switch. The AE111 switch is a dual-pressure switch so you could just use the low side if you dont have the AE92 unit.

For the compressor you only need to connect the clutch trigger, the AE92 AC ECU doesn't have a speed sensor input so you can ignore those compressor wires.

Pull the lid off the original AE92 SX ECU and the pinouts are printed on the PCB.

    Thanks for the reply...

so to confirm, the A/C pinout on the sx ecu goes to the act pinout on the blacktop ecu? And the ecu itself controls the clutch trigger?

Appreciate your help, but i'm left a little more confused now than i was previously

in the original SX looms, ACT is wired to the AC amplifier, A/C is T'd into the AC Clutch relay output that goes to the actual magnetic clutch on the compressor.

in the AE111 loom, both AC1 and ACT go to the AE111 AC Amplifier. It's been 5 years since I last wired a blacktop to AE92, but ACT is simple, just hook up the AE111 ACT pin to the old AE92 ACT pin, I can't quite remember exactly what was required wtih the AC1 pin, but if it doesn't work connected directly to the old A/C wire then you need a small circuit to invert the signal.
