Def track down a 20V oil pump. also if your shimming the bypass on the oil pump it might be worth putting a restricter in the head. You don't want more oil pressure in the head, just the bottom end. The difference between an M series and a normal BMW block is 1 tap in brass insert in the top of the block with a small hole. Had a mate who built a fully built 320i and had endless problems with bearings and oil surges until he fitted one.

i paid $200 for mine but that almost a year ago, just for the caps, it adds ~10mm of metal to the main cap. tomei do sell studs separately but the arp one are a lot cheaper. i think they are forged too but not 100% on that, remember reading it somewhere
