lol you wont be able to use the hilux tray as cutting that much from the car wouls make it too weak being unibody.
could chop the back out and make it into a ute with sheet metal ect but would need a cage.

maybe i should go out and do a test on that shell im guna scrap.

also i actually have a towbar for z20, would do better than the rolla.

Dude... dude. What do you want for that towbar? Pretty sure I'd give my left testicle if it wasn't so hard to remove. 147....

And I just wanted to use the inside of the tray, cut behind front seats, bit of sheet n window action. Might not be necissary now...

Someone in Victoria many moons ago made a Supra ute, pretty sure it was A60/A70 not an A80. Was featured in a car mag but that was a very long time ago.

    cheers Chuck.

    go for it!!!

if tomoro goes to plan i should have a new daily, and im leaning back to my old evil plan of turning my white mx83 into a ute. i drew up some designs for it a while ago, styleside (keeping the cressida quarters and back panel) not tray ute though.
i need a ute, but none of them drive overly well, mx83's on the other hand are a great drivers car with a few small mods. plus then i will have a stocker, racer and ute, all in the same chassis code
