Has anyone ever had a go at swapping the location of the oil pickup hump on the 4M sump and by using an extended oil pickup tube. We'd love to use a 4M engine in a rod were building and we don't want to modify the subframe so by having the hump moved from the centre to at the rear this would correct this problem.We have a Tig so using a spare sump for the modifications won't be a problem but would the oil pump hanndle the extra tubing distance.
