Interesting you say that wagonist, one our cars broke down last year at Winton and we borrowed a Daewoo Lanos (ex series racecar) from Adam Ronke, it ran 1:57's all day, the most consistent the bloke had been in the 4 previous years he has competed - LOL

Just had a read of the newsletter/info brief, Bad Earth Racing gets team number 1 reserved as the defending champions haha

I'm keen as to get back out there to defend the title for Bad Earth, but my box has rooted 2nd and 3rd gears! If some new shifter bushes and a box oil change make it better I'll definately be there again, but I doubt it will help.

Anyone that is in a position to get down there should join a team or get a team together. Its an awesome weekend. So much fun. Even if you've never been to Wakefield before the practice day gives you plenty of time to get comfortable with the track.

If all is going to plan i'd be not in NSW and bumming around Aus by then.. But... If I can just rock up and race i'd be keen, can't really help as much as I did with preparation last year.. Could fly back for a few days, help defend the title, then fly back to where ever.

RA28 is going to be stored in Newcastle.. So probably fly back to Newy and drive down to WP for a few days.

Word from Matt Ronke, Wakefields Manager is the numbers are looking pretty damn good, a number of Victorians are travelling up, they have capped the number at 30 teams, and they are expecting between 20-30 teams, so that is good news.

These 6 Hour events have really kicked goals with us 'club' motorsport people.
