Really? They have failed to tell me that the last 4 times I've arranged permits (for different cars).

I called and asked about getting a permit to attend a motorsport event. He said they couldn't help. Apparently a few people had called last week to try and get something similar to attend Big Als Poker Run...

they may not verbally say it, in the few times I have organised permits, I think they have only actually read the terms and conditions to me once.
But it is all there in the fine print.
They need to know where you're car is going from and to, and why
and it can only be during the day, cannot drive the car in the evening. So if you get pulled over you will be screwed.
You could try playing dumb and say you weren't told about it - but seriously, how many cops have let you off with a warning in the past ??

anyone got a car trailer i can borrow then, celica didnt pass unless i can fix it all in a day n try n squeeze it back into the pits. i got pulled over in the celica when it was on a permit, i got let off lucky cause i was wearin policemen pants.

I'm a few steps closer to having my car ready..

Made a steel divider to separate the cabin from the boot..
Cut some holes for wires in the battery box and got some straps to hold it closed
Getting some 255's or similar for skid rims tomorrow
sanded the whole car back with some 2000 today..gonna give it a decent cut and polish tomorrow arvo..(not necessary, but may aswell look pretty while dropping skids)

Now just gotta hope I can get some dyno time tomorrow or tuesday.. Otherwise ill still come down but run with an incomplete tune...which I dont really want to do..

Nope, at least the GT4 never had that problem.
