Default Early 4a ignition coil and distributor

    Help!

My new corolla with it's Carby 4a has just killed it's ignition coil.

Apart from having to be towed home, I hav also to fix it.

Does the ignition coil come out or is it an entire distributor replacement??

And does anyone have a spare one?

so is this a 4ac or a 4age with carbs on it?

If its a 4age you can slide the coil off the transformer holder , just disconnect it from the transformer, part number is BIC068 in Bosch, cost about $70 to order in from a supercheap

if its a 4ac not 100% but would most probably just be a su12r coil which any super cheap will have in stock

got my old one from the 4age if you want it , not sure if its any good
