no - better to have it poorly combust than try (badly) to act as an air-compressor.
hey all hows it goin. so i have a slight problem. my cylinder 2 has bad compression bc of a bad piston ring. its only hitting 120 pounds. so my main question is, i cant afford to fix it now and i dont want to keep wasting fuel by dumping it in. can i just disconnect the fuel injector to that cylinder to cut it off? would that even work?

definetly no...
well damn, thanks for yer input
Give it a try... can't do any harm. But as said above, usually a cylinder that
is a bit down on compression will still fire well enough make a useful contribution
to power and smooth running.

the issue is that it hardly fires, and it sounds so bad. people laugh at me when they pass me in 2nd gear. it makes me want to cry at night. i want to do a 1jz swap anyways, this would just be a temp fix.
clean/replace the spark plug. Your motor will combust a 120psi cyl and the missing sounds like the plug is badly fowled

well all the plugs and wires are brand new, and each injector is firing properly.
120psi isnt that bad it will still work quite effectively, what about spray pattern on the injector or even flow? have you pulled out the plugs after driving and seen what they look like? defanitley something else is causing your issue
Problem start immediately after they were replaced, wires crossed?
Firing order is 1342.
Look at the cap & coil for signs of arcing, carbon tracks that look like very thin black lightening bolts going between terminals.
Disconnect/short/disable the plugwire or injector to each cylinder when it's idling to find out which one or more isn't pulling its weight.

well i no its cylinder 2 thats not pulling its weight and i no one of the issues is bad compression. i checked all the wires and they are not crossed, and all the plugs are well gapped and not to carbon encrusted. once i get the money ill just do a 1jz swap, thats what i wanted anyways, i was just lookin for a quick fix
