    Default Washer Jet compatibility

When i repainted my Supra bonnet the washer jets were so perished that they came apart on removal. Now im just trying to find out whether the holes are a relatively universal shape so i can use better jets from a newer car.

    Anyone know?

I'm not 100% sure, but if it's the larger size you might be able to use the fan spray pattern ones off newer camry's & etc.

I have looked at a few late euro cars (they often put out a broad spray rather than a jet), but the bonnet hole shape is completely different.

Check out other cars of the same "generation" next time you're down at a self-serve wrecker. I know that the Washer jets from a ST204 Celica, JZA80 Supra, AE102 Corolla and a SXA11 Rav4 are all interchangeable.... I suppose it would be the same for the earlier models? Toyota seem to like mass producing common parts across models like that...

Edit: Worst case scenario - grab some of those ghey LED washer jets from Autobarns and paint them the same colour as your car. The spray pattern is unexpectedly good!

The changeover to the bigger hole is about 1988-1989. I would just file out the holes and get the super dooper fan spray to fit in.

I dare you to get some LED ones!

cut the bonnet to match whatever the most awesome jets you can think of are?

I mean you've already cut it to put the aerocatchs in...

Yeah, was hoping for a plug and play option. Will probably just file out to suit a bigger washer.
