so its 6am at eltham maccas. ill be there. anyone got any recomendations on what to bring last time i felt a little under equiped
Brendon,
Was the invitation from someone directly involved with the organisation of this event (and the eligibility of display vehicles)? If it was, then please ignore my commentary.
My comments reflect the position of the club organising this event.
If your MS112 is a goer why not display that?
Being relegated to the public carpark ain't so bad. (Definitely still worth the drive out to the Rock for the show.) I was directed to the public carpark for years when I dared to arrive in a RA28, TA45 or MA46, but that was at a time when these cars were in the less than 25 year category.

nostalgia is not what it used to be:
plenty of water will be a good thing to bring too.. its thirsty work getting around to see all 500 mustangs in attendance![]()
more like 500 monaros, i didnt even know that there were that many in vic![]()
It was dfunkt from this forum.
Ah yes, the MS112 - I suspect you are looking at a photo taken 6 years ago...If your MS112 is a goer why not display that? ...it is in need of a total rebuild. I read somewhere on this forum that "damage adds character". If that is true, then she currently has a lot of character
Cheers,
Brendon
if it can out "charactor" my celica ill eat my shoes. Im still not sure why ian keeps trying to get me to display it atm (nor am i convinced to). he wants me to put a big "before" sign in front of it lol![]()
i take umberidge at you umberance
i like early holdens as well
nostalgia is not what it used to be:
...oh and bring snacks / lunch for those who want to prepare......or get in early at the food stalls......anything approaching midday is just gonna see lines a kilometre long waiting for food....food stalls I think are Lions clubs etc so always good to give them a few dollars.

(now that's my type of racing)
i dont know
the worst that can happen is they tell you to put it away
nostalgia is not what it used to be:
A peewee, a push bike, l think you will be told to put it away.
Hey boys, next year a week before Hanging Rock they hold a day at Maddingley Park in Bacchus Marsh, just a smaller version of hanging rock but good for a look.
$10 to get in with your car, $5 to have a look. There were no Toyota's there but everything you could think of even a 2004 Bentley sitting on 22in wheels with 295/25/22 tyres on the back, it looked pimp.
Roscos![]()
Mr Shabadoo.Joeys 1975 TA22 - the weird lookin' front one....Daily JZX100
New additions: RA23 Circuit racer. 180sx drift box. R32 GTR Daily. MS65 Crown cruiser.
You were there? My favorite car of that show was a completely stock looking Brown Datsun 280C driven by an elderly man... with a turbo-charged 'L' motor
I also saw a Triumph Staaaaaag with the original V8 too
Cheers,
Brendon
