what we meant by early arrival, is so we can be put together in one spot , as you can imagine with the amount of cars that will be there and someone turns up about 11 am , what chance would they have of
1 the official knowing where we are grouped
2 being allowed to drive through the displays trying to find us
3 some of the officials are a paid to marshal traffic and do not belong to any car club
so do you think that they would give a rats arse where they send you

I was referring to eligibility (only), not the assembly as a group. I guess previous comments can be read a couple of different ways.

I got sports riders for mine... Think they were around 500 fitted... I'd have to check the receipt but..

keep an eye on ebay they pop up there often
i was lucky and got a set of king springs brand new in the box still in the plastic wrap for under $80 through ebay

that amount just for springs? GEEZUS!, my mate in his AU got the for under $200,probably cos its a falcon, what would cutting the springs do, thats what my old man done in his 22

Yeah deffinitelly can't find the receipt, But yeah pretty curtain its somewhere around that..
I put bigger sway bars in front and back as well

Cutting the springs will have the same effect look wise, car will still handle like crap but haha

nah nah, I paid 8 or 900 bucks for springs and a front sway bar, already hada bigger one for the back.. Lookin back at it now i shoulda just put it all on myself haha

Got mine from pedders down west Fyans street i think it is... They were pretty good, dropped me to tafe and shit the days i had to leave my car there... They had to order them in but, can't remember how long it took either..

Hello, I will be attending this year's Picnic, however:

...For 2011, I think we should all respect what the organisers of the event are trying to do for enthusiasts. Yes, they may think a JZA80 Supra (for example) is a very nice car, but it’s not what the show is meant to cater for. This has been echoed by members and patrons alike. And please reconsider sneaking ‘late model’ cars in with a group or arguing that you saw other ‘late model’ cars last year so therefore you should be allowed to display your’s.

I was invited to bring my UZS131 Crown along, but I shall respect the wishes of the organisers.
