Hanging Rock Victoria... As in the famous international movie Picnic at Hanging Rock.

Not the one in NSW between Canberra and Sydney.

I guess we will be through at 8.00ish? Maybe a bit later depending on the speed of the group and the accuracy of our departure time?

Then the rain hit didnt it. And as i don't have a spray booth or anything haha, will unfortunately have to wait till the next cruise to get my car out and about

So yeah wont be driving down with you ctrain, I'll be spending the weekend hopefully finishing it off if the weather is good.

Regarding the '25 year rule'; there will be a letter in the showbag you receive as you enter the event explaining the enforcement from 2012.

It's become increasingly frustrating for organisers that people don't seem to understand what a veteran, vintage or classic car is. Needless to say, the 'special interest' category has been seriously abused. So all this will be replaced with the '25 year rule' to make things more black and white.

The aim is to return the show to it's roots.

I saw some mention of arrival time being a factor in whether or not you get in. In my experience early or late arrival makes no difference (so long as you're in a car that is eligible).

what we meant by early arrival, is so we can be put together in one spot , as you can imagine with the amount of cars that will be there and someone turns up about 11 am , what chance would they have of
1 the official knowing where we are grouped
2 being allowed to drive through the displays trying to find us
3 some of the officials are a paid to marshal traffic and do not belong to any car club
so they may not give a rats arse where they send you

Hi, I will be able to make it with my RT81, just a couple of questions:

Are we going in and parking as a strictly Toyota group of can there be a non-Toyota with/near us. My mate has a '70 Ford Galaxy that is as big as three Toyotas, but is a nice car. He had expressed interest in the event but lives in Warrnambool so I am pretty sure he probably won't make it.

Does anyone want to have a little mini meet up somewhere in the west, like Laverton or somewhere and head up to the BP's from there?

    Looking forward to this muchly

    Cheers Brad.
