I think one of the few things youll get better than the KKK stuff is the GT28RS with a TIAL Vband rear.
30lbs/min = 60lb/min out of two turbos??
2540 must have been a tiny turbo? My 2560's look scary small. What was the flange on the turbine for that? Interesting result though, never seen any specs on the KKK stuff.
Maybe check out what the SR20 guys are doing? I think there's a lot of love for the 2560 or 28 series in their world.

Nah the GT25 series when they 1st came out... consisted of the 2510 (GTR boys stuff), the 2530 which was considered prefect for 2 litres and rated at 330hp (i think this turned into the Disco potato later?) and the '40 with the big 0.7 a/r front cover good for 440hp....it's been a while so hopefully remebered all this right.
60lbs/min is 600hp which the current setup does standing on it's earOn 16psi they delivered 640hp and the comp map puts peak eff at 23psi
so it's a genuine 900hp combo
and damn responsive.
The BW look like they will be a tad more responsive and just look like great bits of gear but looking too exxy to justify

Nah, that's 350rwkw![]()
600hp at the engine just gives a bit of headroom and safer for 'rule of thumb' type calcs
I think the new 11.5:1 comp ratio will liven up response for sure....never hurts to look for improvements though...in fact i can't help myelf![]()

I have a HKS 3037 on a 1j i get no boost till 3000 by 3800 full off of 16psi and 4000rpm im making 200rwkw and this makes power till red line of 7500
and being a HKS turbo i can still up the boost something massive
I run a 2871 on my r32 rb20det this is a bit laggy compared but it is un tuned so that could be the issue but will still spin my wheels in the drive comming on boost if that helps?
[Gentlemen's Club]
Not reallyAt high load i get full boost by 2800rpm with the current setup. So any revs at the track it has full boost pretty well on demand...the SC did have slightly better response though so there's room for improvement

Best of the bunch is the new GTX3071R using your choice of T3 free-Float rear ends. Seeing as the a 1UZ-FE is basically 2x2.0L engines bolted together and you're using 1 turbocharger per bank you can basically have the numbers.
So a GT2860RS will get you there easily, and if you can find free float T2 back ends you're laughing. Alternativly you could get them custom built with free float 0.63 T3 back ends. (very cool)
I'd much rather go GTX3071R with free float 0.63 T3 back ends. Between 30 and 36lbs/min you're above 77% efficiency with plenty of room to move. The data sheet on that spreadsheet of mine says that the K27 is a 76mm wheel, so a step down to a 71mm wheel will yield results with regards to response. Stall crossover onto the LHS of the map is at 3000RPM for 15PSi.
Put it this way Justin. for the $4000 buying for new turbo's you wont gain much.

^^that's the go^^ but as I said, you'll be spending close to $4000 for not much in the way of performance gains.

If i did that i'd go the TIAL turbine housing so yeah, well over $4K.
Oh well, looks like what i have is pretty good and going to stay.....makes life a bit simpler at least![]()
