wiring fuel pump up after 1jz conversion..

hey guys, just need to know whats the best way to wire in a fuel pump into a gz20 after a 1jz conversion..

done a search and couldnt really find all the information i need.. need to know all the components in the electrical circuit and how to wire it up, not really which wire goes where just how to set it up..

Which flavor of 1JZ?

JZX81, JZA70 use a COR like GZ20 stock so that should be easy

JZZ30 and JZX90 use Fuel Pump ECUs. In that case you can use a tachometric relay (often used on gas conversions), or another option is to make a little circuit that takes the FPC pin from the ECU (that ussually goes to the fuel pump ecu) that triggers the COR...

ahh wilbo you save the day again.. its a z30 auto ecu, you wouldnt know how to or which pins to bridge to bypass the park/neutral safety switch by any chance?

actually im just gunna use a tachometric relay.. your right its the easiest way..

The ECU doesn't care if I recall I think if you just leave it, it doesn't think it's in P/N...

If you're using the JZZ30 starter wiring then the pins to join are on the plug that goes to the shifter position switch on the drivers side, the two larger pins on that plug.
