    Default ST162 Swaybar

    Hi All,

I'm really considering purchasing the whiteline rear swaybar for my ST162.

Is this really worth it? What impact will it have on handling? Just the Rear swaybar or both front and rear?

What does the installation of the swaybar involve?

    Thanx

I can't comment on the ST162 but when I had my AE92 SX Corolla throwing some bigger swaybars into it was the best thing I did suspension wise.

It had lowered KYB shocks and king springs along with all new bushes and ball joints, which made an enormous difference, and then when I put the swaybars in it was almost that much improvement again.

I would stongly suggest putting swaybars in. Most things i've read suggest the rear one makes the most difference.

What is the difficulty level of installing though? What did it require? How to replace bushings also?

the sway bar comes with new bushings. the rear is quite tricky on the st162, i think you have to support the fuel tank with a jack and lower it down a little bit to get the sway bar in and out.

i have one for sale at the moment, but with postage costs it'll prob be cheaper to get one locally.
