well my aim is the 300, but how many people say that and not get there.. that is why i didn't want to say it![]()
the disco potato produces more power and spools up a LOT faster than a t28, but I agree with mick. a good sized single is just better. what's your power aim anyhoo?
edit: oh arse it, I don't know what mick means![]()

it doesn't matter if you don't get there dude - it's just important to know how much power you're after before you consider what turbo to get
and I just realised you mentioned that earlierops:
lol thats ok lol![]()
Depending on how long you want to wait, I should be building a big twin setup on and firing by the end of the year. Fingers crossed. Best part will be the cost. I've pretty much decided ont eh turb's I just want to confirm the specs are right, but the supplier claims that the pair should net about 350 at the rears.
I'm going to use a pair of KKR-330 turbs. They're about 700 a throw new. One on a sr20 yeilded 209rwkw, so a pair should see me good. The supplier is currently building their own kit but i've got some ideas on turb placement so i think i'll got it alone.
Comments are welcome. GZP51 I've got the specs of the turbs at home if your interested. I plan on building the lot my self (dumps manifold adaptor ect). So the cost should be a lot friendlier!![]()
3 options I can see
1. GT30R, .8X rear
2. hybrid ct12a's as mentioned
3. T28 (gt25 variants) on custom manifolds
1. Probably cheapest and proven.
2. Looks stock, not that cheap.
3. Heaps of custom stuff required and a heap of piping.
I would go option 1. Main reason being that it is easy to upgrade if need be. GT30 too slow, whack on a GT35Could do the same with the t28 turbos but I think that the more stuff you have in there the higher the possibility there is of breaking one!

GT 30R for ballbearing goodness.
You have the basic piping on your current intercooler setup, Power fc you have, Cams are good, but done last.
Simplest is often the best as things that go wrong end up costin glots to get it right.
So rather than a lot of piping you could run the converging manifolds with an internal gate, too easy! Not a bling setup but a simple, effective method. You can always Bling it up if you want.
Injectors to support that sort of power will be 540cc with a RRR or 650cc.
How did you go with the Turbos? Very interested to see how you went. Has the supplier finished the "kit" yet?
