    Yes, they are both front sump, you could use a hammer, it doesn't hit by much

    both on crack, dont put doubt into coff33s head

    the mx83 sump will fit with no mods to the sump just grind off the mount for that stupid little shock absorber engine dampner on the ma61 xmember.

    also there is no need to modify the dipstick
    - ma61 + 2jz-gte + v160 + 3.5 torsen

    the ma70 7mge has the sump in the middle so if it was out of a ma70 u wld need to redrill the dip stick hole.but urs is out of a mx83 so no need for mods in that area.i have just done the same conversion and i used my clutch and flywheel and that of my 5me and fits fine.the electric side of things isnt simple.i had to take my car to a auto electrician and he said it was a horrible job to do, apparently there is 8 different wiring diagrams for 7mge(like they all different).it was a very easy conversion other than that.good luck with it mate
