What benefit would you get from a brace on the rear considering it would attach to the top of the shock/spring assembly?
Hey guys
I'm looking to get some Strut Braces for my 1J-MX83 but cant find any easy options. I know JZX81 had stock 3 point brace and would prefer to get one but they are hard to find.
My question is would JZA70/MA70/GA70 front and rear braces fit?
Could be common knowledge but I'm just getting in to Toyota's. (I'm a Nissan guy, Be nice! lol)
Any info would be great
Thanks

Jealousy is a curse
Just to stiffen up the rear end for drifting. It's a 30 year old car, the chassis is gonna flex under load while drifting. The strut brace will minimize it
I had a Eunos 500 with front and rear strut braces. It actually had struts front and rear unlike the MX83 which does not have rear struts.

The MX83 does not have a strut type rear suspension so what is the point of bracing something which does not need bracing. The Eunos had struts front and rear and the manufacturer saw fit to fit braces front and back

MX83 may not be a MacPherson strut setup, but shock load is still transmitted through the strut towers.
