No.
Look at KonaKids thread on AE86DC.
Your Borg-Warner will not survive a 2JZ-GE, they don't survive abuse from a 22R-E
Go F series.
So im keeping the BW diff in my corona as they are strong enough for the power im going to have but i dont want to weld it but would like the diff to be LSD
now im sure there are lsd's for other BW but none for this so it seems
has anyone every found or seen one?
Diff it Borg warner from St141 corona

The 18R-G. The GOOD 2 Litre Tractor motor.
mookie had 1jzgte on hos with borg warner welded it was purely a drift car, once near rear bushes were installed it was fine
the smaller BWs from the st141 and the like won't last with the power.
the larger commodores ones went put together well can be a good thing
as i said ive seen one cope with 1jzgte power 180kw survive drifting so ill take the risk,
so thats a no to LSD's for them?
are they not the same as any other diff?
I'm fairly sure the only LSD option is a "Locked Standard Diff"There'd be LSD ST141 diff's in every second KE70/AE86 if they were available.
There is the option of a mechanical LSD. I had one installed in my car about 2 years ago and it seems to assist somewhat. Although my car is only 700kgs and has a stock 4age putting out 68kw atw.It is also only used for Hillclimbs.
Had this done in Bentleigh Vic by a Datsun Rally bloke who has built many of these over the years. From memory it cost me about $250.
thanks alex63
can you give anyother details?
business name etc?
The business name is Tayell Automotive in Bentleigh East Vic.
Some members on Rollaclub a while back had comments about them.
They lock on acceleration and release when you remove power.
I can't compare with a locked diff but find it better than on open diff .
cheers mate rep for you
ST141 diff and RA60 (Mookies old 1JZ car right?) are different aren't they?

Mookie had a ra65 with 1jz then that motor and box went into a RT142 corona with a live axle borgwarner rear that was welded.
