22R will not idle.

I have just finished instlling a rebuilt 22RE that i have retrofitted back to carby in my hilux. The problem is now that the car refuses to idle, it willstart and run but quickly stall without reving it. What could be the problem?

You need to have power going to the idle fuel cut solenoid so it lets fuel run through the idle jet.

Thanks for your reply, problem has been sorted, it turned out to be a vacuum leak.
