yeah the bypass valve thingy was funny, but still not good. I thought something was up with it. Glad that's all it was.

lol rich as fuck in other words...

    good work bud

keep this in mind if your sitting between 14 and 15 cruising around off boost your doing fine.. keep it at or under 12.5 on boost but... its possible to street tune a car enough for fun.. people will disagree but..

If its reading 11-12 on boost it just means means its running a bit rich off boost(10.6 off boost right?)

they read as rich as 10.5 and lean as 20.0

did you calibrate it right? does the micro tech need to have the values programmed into its table?

microtech doesnt use the value at all, just displays it, no correction whatsoever (open loop ecu only).

I am thinking the LC1 auxillary isnt setup properly for some weird reason. They get corrupt sometimes are require a reflash with the other little program that comes on the lc1 disk to configure the auxillary output wires. The actual laptop reading of the LC1 will be correct though, so you are on the right track by getting a lappy for tuning purposes. Ignore the microleb's value and simply read the value from a lappy screen. (or get one of the innovate gauges)

It could also be a weird grounding issue between the lc1 and the microleb, but meh I am not going to elaborate on it yet.

Either way you are doing the right thing by relying on the lappy value in logworks.

12.5 on boost is ballpark street tune on boost figure, lean whilst cruising and idle / off boost is fine too, as long as it is not too lean (ie. 14 - 15ish).

Casey-G - I agree street tuning is very possible, I have done it several times as well.

Adams4AGTE - Give me a call one day when you are screwing with the LC1 and I will see if we can sort it out. I can always plug mine in like last time so I view exactly what you are on your screen, seemed easier that way.

14.3-14.5 is fine for highway "skimming speeds" i tend to get a better idle when tuned around 13... even if the afrs jump up above 15 for i bit on light load you'll be pretty right esp on a low comp off boost tune.. high compression NA i wouldnt risk that however..

hope you blokes get this tune sorted, this thing would go nuts with about 12psi i reckon

will be a case of no-traction and possible/probable torque-steer me thinks!
