    Default ST162 Sunroof Removal

    Hi Guys,

I need some assistance/knowledge on how to remove the sunroof from an ST162.

I have been plagued with rust

    Anybody?

I have heard that there are bolts concealed under the lining of the sunroof (metal sliding section) that are accessed by removing the lining... (was told this by a rusty sunroof st162 owner).. but I have never played with one myself to confirm this..

From memory you need to slide the sunroof back to access the front bolts (I think underneath the trim), then forwards and tilt it up to access the rear bolts. I remember seeing a guide for it somewhere (either here or on Ozcelica), I'll try and find it.

I think it's just a matter of removing the trim inside the cabin, by memory there is a strip that comes out then you can pop out the cover on the bottom of the sunroof to access 4 x 10mm bolts holding it in.

I remember taking one out of a wreck years ago that had no power to it and it was surprisingly easy. Took under 5 mins
