    votes no for Witzl.
i dont have enough spare time, and will end up stuffing people around too much and take too long to post off to individuals.
Would love to help, but i know i would just let others down by taking forever to get off my arse.

Pulling out the pressure washer this arvo to clean off the volvo diff ready for painting.... hopefully this supposed storm holds off long enough

    Hi,

I need to have mine on the road asap as it is the only fully registered car I have. The other two cars are on historics. Trini is my daily car and that's why I need it back and running asap. I think Witzy-babes has a daily driver so he is not in desperate need to get his turbo-rolla on the road, as much as I am.

Furthermore, Riverina's shit box is dropping a bit of engine oil, and now it's really starting to haemorage (spelling) power steering fluid. It needs to get fixed and fast, as I fill the steering fluid each week. So, the need to get Trini back quickly is paramount, not only for me as a daily, but for Riverina to use while her car gets fixed.

Yes. It will be dyno'd after the Autronics is installed and wired up.

Hoping for around 140-150rwkw 'cos of my little turbo, but Dennis reckons it could pull more than that. So, who knows.. except it will pull more than the 44rwkw the old oil-burning 18R-C it once had.

My oil and coolant leaks are now fixed So I am busy finalising pump mountings, the exhaust, throttle cable, mount guages and ECU, then it's just a matter of re-assembling the front end, and I can drive again!!

There will be photos in my RA28 thread tonight (uploading now)

Alex, you are correct, $150 ea per set (we hope)

Karl, great info, I'll remeber to do that.

    Yellowrolla - 2
    JustenGT8 - 1
    O_Man_RA23 - 1
    Steve M - 2
    Witzl - 1
    RA 28 - 3
    7M GTE MX73 - 1
    Sagluren - 1
    Norbie - 1
    Timbosaurus - 1
    Floppy - 1
    River - 2

So right now we have 20 sets overall. I'll hit the guy up next week for a status and let him know I have this level of interest.

Tks for the reps everyone!!! I just hope this works out out so I actually deserve them!

So if/when we set up a group buy what are the forum rules? Roadkill mentioned on the 1GC forum (for his door hinge bushing GB with Cary) that you need to request permission from the board.

Back on topic. Have any of you converted the 18RGEU fuel rail to accept AN fittings for the input and return? I can't seem to find the right adapters, especially the M18 x 1.00 FPR hole. Weld and tap? That just scares me with such a scarce part. Also, can MSII support a cold injector, or should I just plug that hole?

    Hey all

In the process of Building a Turbo 18RG

Plans are to recondition everything and replace most parts to make it good as new.

Its a 18RGU, ive just bought a EFI manifold, EFI thermostat housing. Turbo manifold and a T25 Turbo.
What Pistons would i have to use? Read on google that the 18RGUE (RGEU?) has the lowest compression ones. would these handle a bit of boost?

Sorry for sounding like a noob, but thats a hell of lot reading back though the pages

Any help, or pointers highly regarded

Dan, it will be beneficial to read the whole thread! What you learn will help keep you motor from going KaBoom. If you don't have the patience to read the thread, then either bring your project to a shop or sell the bits stay carby'd. You have WAY more work ahead of you than reading a long thread.

i have read %50 of the thread,

Seems i have a bit more of a life outside the net ToyGuy

I know i have some work ahead of me, thought this forum was about helping and sharing and all that other BS!.

Just a simple question on what pistons to use that was all, guessing you could have answered that in the less time it took to write your above post
