So there shouldn't be a noticeable power/torque loss with those short headers compared with the long, rush style ones?

I'm guessing that the passenger side shorties will fit with minimum mods (IE might have to chop off the post-collector peice and reweld in the right direction) and that the drivers side might need the two rear-most tubes modified...If that's feasible, I might go ahead and order some...

Justen: Do you have any pics of the headers fitted? I'm having a hard time picturing where they'll sit/outlet/run on the motor

Most off-the-shelf setups will fit the passengers side (with minimal, if any, mods)

any pics of the uz in the a61? steering column clearance pics?

Would go off the shelf if possible. The option is to go turbo, then the manifolds go up or forward

Turbo's a no go sadly, too many legality issues...plus if I was going to keep using modifed motors, I'd keep the 1G

Fair enough do they extend far past the block?

Nah, from memory they barely go past the block, if at all, but flush up against my firewall so good for me.

Best get in touch with Crambo.

    http://www.toymods.org.au/forums/showthread.php?t=30541

He had pics of his exhaust both on the engine and on it's own posted somewhere, but I can't seem to find them again? Might've been a for-sale thread? It was a long time ago I guess...

Also take a look at the Castle Hill 'shorties' - I'll probably get a set of these when I get around to it...
