    Track Day - Saturday 4th DECEMBER 2010

    Venue: Wakefield Park (Goulburn NSW)

    Price: $170 per driver (includes Official Natsoft Timing)

    Places: 50 drivers (absolute maximum)

    Format: Sprint / Open practice format

    Spectators: FREE!

    How to Enter:
    1) Please express you interest here now, and I will post up payment and entry details shortly.

    Prizes given for many different categories across the day.


    That's right; we've booked Wakefield Park once again for a day full of fun and excitement. So bring your track monster or stock streeter along and let loose in a controlled environment.

    Beginners/First Timers are more than welcome!

    Accommodation:
    Rooms have been reserved at the BakeHouse Motel in Goulburn. These will be allocated on a first come, first go basis, so get in quick.


    Personal Requirements:
    • CAMS L2S or AASA available on the day (Please see the thread here on how to obtain a license: http://www.ozmazda.com/board/index.p...how-to-obtain/
    • Long sleeve and long pants of non-synthetic material.
    • Enclosed footwear of some type.
    • ADR-approved helmet, either full face or half face is OK. Helmets are available for hire from Wakefield Park on the day. See their website for costs.


    Vehicle Requirements:
    • Tow Hook Point: If detachable type, please install it as this will speed up recovery times on the day.
    • Aftermarket bonnets (CF/Fibreglass/etc) will require a secondary restraint, such as strap/chain/belt/pins). This is not required for factory bonnets with a double-latching mechanism.
    • Vehicle in good running condition, this includes:
    • Tyres in roadworthy condition with enough tread
    • No oil or fluid leaks
    • Brakes in good working condition
    • No loose parts in the engine bay, cabin or boot, including battery
    • Vehicle interior and boot clear from loose objects (including spare wheel, jack etc)
    • Fire Extinguisher (not essential, but preferred!)


    Notes:
    • Everybody is welcomed, no matter how new or experienced you are at circuit driving.
    • Any passengers are required to fill in and sign an indemnity form. A total of 2 Passenger sessions will be run throughout the day.
    • Please make sure your car is prepared, the quicker everybody is ready to go and have their car checked, the more track time we can have.
    • Cars will be divided into groups based on estimated lap time, this is to ensure that there is minimum traffic for you, and as a result you get a clean and safe run. Please provide an estimated lap time in your entry form if you have an idea.
    • Timing will be posted on http://www.natsoft.com.au/ after the event, and may be viewable during the day.
    • This is not a competitive event; we are all here to have an enjoyable day. Please drive safely and follow instructions, or you will be banned from further driving.

    1 - fastest outright open
    2 - fastest outright registered
    3 - fastest forced induction
    4 - fastest N/A
    5 - fastest Mazda

    1-5 to receive 3 x 5L of Castrol edge oil + Castrol hoodies, BP shirts/ cap + Mazda goodies bag

    6 - People's choice award
    7 - Best presented car (judged by us)

    6&7 to receive Mother's car care buckets

    LOL you can hold it against him/her when he/shes is older, with 50 cars up is the track time gonna be limited like a few laps long wait etc.

    Wakefield can handle 60+ cars and there will be plenty of track time for everyone . I dont think most cars would be able to run all day anyways.

    Good price for a Natsoft timed day? and a Sat as well. 50 cars is a worry, but should be OK as long as 1:15* nobheads don't nominate for the sub 1:10 group?

    50 cars is indeed quite a few, but for a timed day that is decent pricing. being an ozmazda day though you probs wont get much track time with the amount of rotors that will surely drop their guts

    shit no, my car's coming off the road for a turbo swap and some other stuff this weekend. probs wont be in track worthy condition again till late january

    For any one interested on this track day , you can book via Auto Obsession. Upon receipt of payment, your details will be forwarded to the event organiser for inclusion.
