*edit* Definetly out, at the swapmeet in baccus with a mate.
From the TCCA newsletter this month:
8:30am-10:30am October 17 will be the second Cars, Coffee and Donuts, meeting point will be at Westfield “Plenty Valley” Shopping Centre, located at 415 McDonalds Rd, Mill Park.
Degani Bakery and Cafe located inside the Shopping Centre are open from 7:30am, for those who would like to purchase a good coffee. I will have a supply of donuts for TCCAV members.
I would like to openly invite anybody from other Car Clubs who would like to join us and
display a car, or just come along to see some interesting Toyotas and talk all things
automotive and more.
As this is an Official TCCAV event, all H and CH plated cars are welcome. Please represent TCCAV in the best way possible by driving responsibly and refraining from antisocial or offensive behaviour.
Evan G from the Rollaclub website is organising a cruise from Mill Park to Kinglake for lunch, and then on to Sugarloaf reservoir
afterwards for some photos.
He is asking people to meet at Mill Park McDonalds, (corner Plenty Rd and University Drive) just around the corner from where we are meeting for Cars Coffee and Donuts. All welcome.
I can be contacted on the day on 0422 328 332 or beforehand if necessary. See you there!
-Dave

Good day. photos are here!
![]()
I was having a great day till the starter shit it self at kinglake
oh well we got some tuning time in on the way home taking it easy.
as for the smoke, sorry to anyone that was behind me, I didnt realize my car was smoking that bad haha. I guess ill stick to the back of the bunch next time till i rebuild it![]()
it was like the batmobile! lol
What happened with the starter?
dunno it wouldnt crank at all, wasnt even clicking... the rear of the soleniod was loose in the housing.. no idea
we roll started it and I headed straight home, pulled it into my shed and turned it off... starter is working again!
anyone got an ae92 reduction starter handy?![]()
wierd buddy, new starter definatly on the cards.
atleast you got some tuning time out of it.
how did auto tune go?
its a little ripper, ive gotta do some more smoothing of the map before i do any more auto tuning, the ~mid load, low rpm (ie cruising up a small incline etc) is way all over the place. not sure if anyone on the cruise noticed how jumpy my car was when it wasnt flat out haha.
I think Ill get the tune right on the next few club days, once its close to 100% itll be time to rip the motor out for a rebuild
well we'll have to organise a cruise so you can get some good tuning time then
haha Ill just go to club meetings and visit events as a spectator for now
Id rather not tune on an actual cruise incase something goes wrong
was a great drive to kinglake... went on to buxton with the rollaclub....... roads were abit wet was not familiar with the area big drive!
