    A few interesting figures... From a previous dyno day 18RC 41.6kw (and that was with the mechanic pushin it to the max. This was beaten by a 4AC who ran a 42KW. you would think a 2.0L would get better performance than a 1.6L. Now compare the 18RC 41.6 KW to my recent 2TGEU (factory standard) 66.4KW - which requires no major mechanical modification to fit.

    This all goes to show that putting your 18RC in will:
    a. Cost you lots of money
    b. add no real gain in performance
    c. give you a reliable but slow car.

    Ask your self, do I like to drive like my Grandpa?

    ca18 are alright motors, they can take a beating, but some are good some are bad, they are
    moody creatures much like women.

    if ur after performance why not a 1g, if ur after somthign that aint gonna cos a lot 2tg or a hybrid (depending on where u get ur bits from)

    The CA18DET is really just a 3T-GTE with a nissan badge and missing 4 spark plugs anyway

    hmmmmm ok we will go with that one... plus a 3T is probably alot harder to break than a CA....

    back to the original topic, just cos you got the 18rc doesnt mean you use it, could if you wanted but IMHO dont.
