    Default 1GGTE afm change

hay guys, i would like your ideas on this...

my 1ggte hilux runs abit sluggish. now from when i was at the wreckers last i got a afm off a 7mge, i fitted it the other day and holy shit!1 i reckon the thing makes about 60hp more.

it had abit of a flat spot around 2500k or so and i thought that it may have been running lean so i adjust the afm afew clogs to make it alittle richer.. i can't hear the thing pinging at all just awesome wheelspin in 2nd and 3rd now!!

is this a bad thing i have done ???

    Hi
I have heard they will interchange but never tried it ,
I once bought a AFM for a 7MG , but when it turned up it wasnt a 7 M one , the bloke assured me it was running on a 7M fine but i just got the correct one in the end , Whats the 1G AFM part no?

    Does it plug right up??

Could be pretty interested in doing this if it makes a bit of a difference.

yeah but that was with 7mge ecu as well.. i have just plugged an 7mge afm in to the factory gen3 1ggte loom and engine. running the 7mge ecu aswell, it would have different fuel maps which would make it run alot different.
