Not sure any of you knew.... Toyota Motorsports, better known as TOM'S was begun around the 2000 GT, and Carroll Shelby (YES, that Carroll Shelby)

Yeah they where a pretty good motor for the time as mentioned datsun had it all over them. Hell not long later the 240Z came out with the L24 twin carb. was only sohc but still made 150hp easy enough.

I like the 2000GT still but its really one of those dream cars u never gonna get near.

On a another note has anyone else here ever heard of the TC24-B1 head available for the L24?? If not think twin cam triple carb goodness on a 240Z (as much of a toyota head as i am i still love old Z's)

Wish I had a F#%ken awesome toyota.. saving for the goodness now.... stay tuned....

It should work on all the L-series sixes, not just the L24
There was a rumour not long ago that OS-Giken were going to restart production of these heads in limited numbers (ie x-amount per year or something). It would be massively cool if they did, ITB DOHC L28 would go awesome in an S30/S130 Z or a C10-R30 Skyline, and sound horn to boot

Yeah, it's an OS Giken TC24-B1 as already mentioned. There's videos of the Office Tomitaku S30Z on youtube. It sounds pretty awesome.

Yes, OS Giken are doing a limited re-run of the TC24 heads with some slight modifications, so if you're really keen, be prepared to lay out a probable 5-digit sum of money
