    cheers Chuck.
correct t and g bellhosuings are interchangeable. i think there is a slight difference with one having one extra aligner pin maybe.

so in theroy you could also bolt a t-50 (fromt t-18/ta22) to a 3s and it would theoryetically work. Brett (?) in tassie has been running a t-50 behind of a 1ggue in his corona for a fair few years i think. i was considering putting a 1g into a t-18 also (never happened). but yes these is some swapping available there.

also dont forget to check the spiggot bearings, im not sure if you need a different size for different boxes

dunno about the mounts being bolt in though sam, unless a sa63 or st141 cross member and mounts bolt upto the ke70 chassis...

also careful, check what box st141 actually uses, i have a bad feeling they all have the shitty boagwarner 4 or 5speed.

Yeah ae71 is correct, the some of the "S" engine powered Corona's did indeed have a Borgy box instead of the Toyota box. The SA63 Celica was fitted with a W5x box.

    cheers Chuck.

oh sorry I meant just relative to the gearbox, in this case another model of T50 that bolts in to the mounts at least.

There is actually a *S to t50 bell housing that exists. I'm not sure which cars they were standard in but I own one of these bell housings (long story) and I know of one between a beams motor and a sprinter t50 in a lotus 7 replica.

Kiwiland is usually were they come from.....in the cars we got borg warners they usually got T40s..........ST141 Coronas and the like. They do sell for a bit over there because nearly every Lotus 7 replica over there has one of those bellhousings in it behind a 3SG

Yeah the "Button Plan" for local content in Aussie built cars sorta screwed us royally for those odd bits and pieces.
