If you can't work out the body wiring, don't worry about it. Just wire an external globe to it, sure it's not as nice, but it will work, and going with the theme of the build, it's consistent

Have a search for the thread about how to check the codes, it'll have the procedure and the codes.

Stomps, PM mullet, he has a grenaded 1G with knock sensors.

ok sorted the problem out

when changing knock sensors (thanx robin) i noticed one of the ends on the fuel up VSV was snapped so i glued it back on, so not sure which it was that fixed the problem knock sensors or VSV.

Either way car runs sweet as now thanx for all that replied.

Fuel up? I don't follow...The only VSV I know of under the inlet manifold is for the TVIS.

maybe not fuel up then... but according to the pic i found there are 2.. then one on the firewall.. the one towards the front of the car said fuel up... maybe the diagram was wrong.. but whatever it was.. its now fixed..

all that would make more sense.. no tvis hence not enough air hence turbos boostin hard making more noise blowing heap of fuel out the back sluggish performance cos its not getttin enough air yey another mystery solved dear watson
