Corona lock diff options ???

Hi everyone,
wondering if anyone knows wow many spline axles are in st141 borg warner diff ? I want to lock the diff for drifting , was going to weld the center but now thinking about getting a mini spool. Has any one had a good run out of a nice weld job , or is the spool the go ? Its only a stock 2s 5 speed at this stage and will only be thrashed every couple of weeks ?

With a Borg Warner in a Corona I wouldn't bother pulling a diff apart, fitting a mini-spool and setting it all up again. Just weld it, and when the centre or an axle breaks throw a new centre and axle at it.

I've had good experience with welded diffs. Yes I find they break eventually, but usually got 6months to a year of hard drifting out of them. And that was with a diff and axles somewhat too small for the power put through them.

does ne one know how many spline it is 20 or 25? would like to know please someone =D =p
