Do you have 'pick a part' help yourself or something similar nearby where you hock the parts yourself?
can any one help?
im looking for the 22 pin connector / plug to go into:
ive tried wreckers and they tell me they just have the ecu themselves and chuck the looms out!

I have one in a box in my shed... i think i may have chucked it out though.. it dont have much wire left coming out of it if i remember right, you may need to de-pin them with a small (like jewelers small) screwdriver and do your thing with it.
Should be able to order through toyota, but i doubt it will be an instant over the counter buy to say the least.
I highly doubt your gonna find one even at a self serve pick apart as they suit ONLY the 4agze ecu and no other 4ag series ecu.
ahh cool, i did find out there is a pick and payless here. I suspected it was only a 4agze part. I only need the plug so the amount of wire coming out doesnt really matter. If you can find it that would be awesome, cheers!
ill have a look for you tomorrow when im down in the shed tomorrow.
As in your other thread, I got a AFM 4agze (24 pin) connector from a camry or toyota something of a similar age. If Casey can't help, try Kaizen Garage, Anthony will know which vehicles have the same, or can supply them.
Look at any 3S, 1G, 4A computers. I don't know the exact engines that use the same connector (GZE, GTE, GE etc), but it's fairly common.
I expect it is a fairly common denso ecu connector. I have a UZS131 ecu here with same plug same plug as MX83 . Also have a Mazda V6 and 4cyl Denso ecus from Mazda 626s with same plug in fact ALL 3 plugs from the UZS131 fit the Mazda ecus
