Fuel light on 91 SX Corolla

Does anyone know how much fuel is left when the fuel light comes on. I guess the answer is in the car manual, but I don't have one. By my estimate its around 10-12 litres.

that sounds about right. in my ke70 corolla it flickers on and off depending on terrain with approx 12L in and is constant with 10L or so left in
because of fuel prices ive driven 90 km now with the fuel light on. so im estimating 1 - 2 litres left in the tank

the manual will say the capacity of the tank

when your fuel light comes on fill up the tank to full, note how many litres you put in and do the math

I would imagine at say 1L per 10km that you would still have about 50-80km left when light comes on. It comes on faily early as well. I'd say about 5-8L. As above - do the math

I think mine was about 5-8 litrs cos i would pour about 38-40 litres when the light was on and the tank is only a 45 ltr tank in the SX. Its a smaller thank than the CSi which is i believe 55 ltrs if i rem rightly.

That is sounding more right. When i was poor (still am sorta) i'd literally driven on fumes a couple of times. I remember getting at least 50km past the light going fully on, not just on off, but on for sure. Mind you its not good for the pump.
